This week’s episode is one that’s been on my mind for a while. I’ve been diving deep into the idea of acceptance and the emotional battles we often face. We all have this inner fight happening—like the one described in the Native American story of two wolves. One wolf is fueled by negativity—anger, regret, guilt—and the other one is all about joy, peace, and compassion. The question is: Which wolf will win? It’s all about which one we feed.
In the episode, I share some personal reflections on how I’ve been struggling with this, especially as my son’s birthday approaches. There’s also a bit of a twist—I talk about a book I’ve been reading, Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff, and how it’s helping me be kinder to myself in moments when I’d normally be harsh.
I’d love for you to give it a listen and think about which wolf you’re feeding in your own life. Are you showing yourself the kindness you deserve?
