Hey listeners! This week I am sharing part 2 of my conversation with Robyn Rosenberger, mom of 3 and founder & CEO of TinySuperheroes. TinySuperheroes is a company seeking to empower kids and families as they overcome illness or disability. Robyn actually isn’t a special needs mom but she clearly has a servant heart and followed her calling to helping these families and inserting herself into the special needs world.
Robyn explains that Tiny Superheros was actually started by accident. She wanted to make a special needs child feel beautiful and special, so she made her a cape. That’s how it began and now the organization sends capes to kids all over the world. Robyn says any diagnosis because part of the mission is to bring together families and show they have a commonality. Finding this connection, big or small, breaks loneliness and the TSH program helps mark the journeys that families go through.
Robyn and I talk about how our thoughts are wholly impactful on our feelings and emotions. We don’t always have to be happy or rainbows but if what we are thinking and saying is true, that’s the emotion we need to be feeling. We can root back to what is the truth and realize that sometimes our thoughts aren’t reflecting that truth.
Please check out Tiny Superheroes and join this amazing community that Robyn has built.
