The Caregiver Command Center & Why I Built It

Caregiving has a way of living everywhere at once. Inside your head, in random folders, buried in emails, written on scraps of paper, and replayed at night when you are supposed to be sleeping. And eventually, that mental load becomes unsustainable.

In this episode, I share why I built what I now call the Caregiver Command Center. A flexible, customizable spreadsheet designed to help caregivers organize everything they carry so they can lead their caregiving with more clarity and less overwhelm.

This wasn’t created as a product first. It was created to solve my own problem.

With a child approaching adulthood and the structure of school ending soon, I found myself overwhelmed by how many agencies, providers, medications, conditions, documents, and decisions were involved—and how much of it lived only with me. Even with a supportive partner, I was the keeper of all the knowledge.

So I built a system.

Inside the Caregiver Command Center, you’ll find space to:

  • Track doctors, providers, pharmacies, and appointments
  • List diagnoses with clear explanations others can understand
  • Store emergency protocols and caregiving instructions
  • Keep active items and follow-ups from falling through the cracks
  • Train new caregivers with clarity instead of starting from scratch
  • Create a printable manual for anyone supporting your child

This isn’t about turning caregiving into a “project.”
It’s about giving yourself leadership, structure, and relief.

And because this work is hard to do alone, I’m pairing the spreadsheet with a series of free Power Hours. These are live co-working sessions where we sit down together and actually build our systems side by side.

Together is the only way.
